A suggestion for next time, try 2 cups of Chicken broth with the roux and just 1/4 cup or so of cream. The meat/veggie mixture will be way less thick and will maintain some “gravy” after the baking. For the herbs, Try ground sage in place of dill. You can also cover with a sheet of butter brushed puff pastry instead of canned biscuits.
