This definitely is not an easy post but my skincare journey has been crazy, I went from having a very smooth skin with a nice uniform tone and texture to having painful acne with dark spots spread across my face. Struggled with it since 2020, somehow I was able to manage it and it seemed to be clearing in 2024 then boom! It came back. That was when I made the decision to seek professional help, I was done with the experiments, buying any product I see on TikTok and ending up wasting my money cause nothing was working. I saw a dermatologist in February 2025, as a birthday gift to myself. I was patient, I was consistent, I was hopeful and optimistic. I knew it was going to work. Thankfully the products I was placed on were affordable and I also had to change my diet. Going through my videos and pictures from the past where I was still with the condition, I remember how depressed and sad I’d get at times but still I had to show up by acting confident. I had to see myself beyond my face, is it the insensitive comments from people and unsolicited advice, let's not even start talking about that but all I can say is thank you JESUS!!
