The viral phrase
The viral phrase "Shahin Notir Polake Dhore Fel" originated from a daring robbery that took place in December 2022 at a UK-resident's house in Chhatak, Sunamganj. The true hero of the incident was Masuk Mia, a UK foreign returnee who showed incredible courage by tackling and capturing two armed robbers single-handedly. During the struggle, when one robber tried to escape, Masuk shouted to his younger brother in his local dialect: "Shahin, Notir Pola ke dhore fel!" (ordering him to catch the culprit). While the brothers successfully handed over four robbers to the police, a video interview describing the incident later went viral on social media for all the wrong reasons. Instead of Masuk Mia being celebrated for his bravery, the internet focused on his unique regional accent and the aggressive yet funny command directed at his brother.
