@dr.matthew.parker: The FDA just approved a brand new ADHD medication, and it's doing something different. Simtriyo (centanafadine) isn't just another stimulant. It's the first FDA-approved ADHD medication to target dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin. Does that mean it's better than Adderall, Vyvanse, or Ritalin? Maybe, but we don't know yet. What is important is that it gives us another treatment option, and in psychiatry, that's always a good thing. Every patient's brain is different, and having more tools means we have a better chance of finding the right fit. Early trials have been extremely promising, but I'm excited to see how it performs in the real world.
