theres actually reasons for this! when you sit, your pelvic floor relaxes when you sit, especially on the toilet due to instinct, reducing abdominal pressure! youre also contracting less as gravity increases. for longer and better relief, i recommend lifting your legs into a squatting position by using a stool (which is also recommended for much much easier bowl movements anyway. decreases constipation which sitting normally can cause).
