it's sad how true this is. someone in prison often continues to be punished long after their sentence ends. our justice system isn't broken. it's designed to garentee failure

They really do felons dirty in this country… I have so many friends who didn’t commit violent crime or financial crimes like getting busted with marijuana before it was legal. Not only were their records not expunged but they struggle to find any employment and it’s a revolving circle….

And this is what makes me mad about our school system too. Criminals can get fed and housed but children can’t. The same people who chant positively for prison systems chant that kids shouldn’t get guaranteed meals
