This video really made me think. We are told not to distinguish or judge people because of how God created them, yet sometimes institutions and society do exactly that in different ways. For example, someone can be brilliant, highly skilled, hardworking, and fully capable, but be disqualified immediately from an opportunity simply because of height or weight. RwandAir is one example. I understand that some physical requirements can be necessary for safety, but when a person’s height does not determine their ability to perform, shouldn’t their knowledge, skills, character, and potential matter more? The painful part is that we did not choose how God created us. Repeated rejection because of something we cannot change can deeply affect someone’s confidence and make them question their own worth: “Why did God create me this way?” Those wounds can stay with a person for a long time. Let’s not preach against discrimination while creating other forms of it. We should learn to see people for what they can do, not only for how they look or how their bodies were created. ❤️
