That was just the number of people who died from Covid that we counted. My dad died because the hospitals were overrun with Covid patients that they missed a kidney infection and sent him home because a kidney stone wasn't an emergency enough for them. He was in a coma for 3 weeks before we had to make the choice to pull his vent because of the raging infections that took over his body. He died as a result of Covid as well, just not from Covid.

15 year school board member here! We lost two students from Covid and that was with following all the health professionals recommendations. I can’t even imagine what would have happened had we not listened to the professionals. Watching them attack Fauci the way they did brought so many feelings back I wasn’t prepared for. Is that what PTSD is? I’m asking because these feelings are a bit new to me. It’s like I’m reliving those extremely painful years. Ugh 😑

My FIL passed with the first big wave in NYC on April 6, 2020. The lockdown was to prevent hospitals from being pushed beyond their abilities. It happened anyway.
