I was prepping bamboo to weave a basket and my neighbor stopped to ask what I was doing. When I told him that I was going to weave a basket he said “oh doing it the old fashion way..” BASKETS ARE STILL HAND WOVEN A MACHINE CANNOT PROPERLY REPLICATE THAT PROCESS too many people are embarrassingly separated from how their products are made

I think it also devalues the work artists do. ive been told that a painting shouldnt cost $250 because they can buy a painting at target for less. im not a printer, i need to be treated like a human being that spent 10-15 hours on the work.

I hobby-write books, to share with a few friends who also do it. We don't publish, we don't care, it's all for fun. The amount of people that 1. cannot imagine writing just for joy, and 2. have now started asking if we're using that chat thing is really sad. Yes, people write entire series of novels because it's fun. Why not. Their minds are blown.

I can just buy it in the store ...... 1.Skills I might need 2. its cheaper the marmelade is made out of blackberry that I collected for free shit would have costed me 40 bucks in the story for that amount and it took 1h to collect and like 15min to cook 3.Hobbys are fun I like crocheting while binge watching a show 4.You can customise shit to your liking and the amount you want
