It’s something I could honestly see myself eating in my everyday life because, y’all know, some stuff I only eat because the rent is due. 😂 This is not one of those places. One thing that’s absolutely imperative, though, is that you hit the toppings bar. My recommendations are: * Chili * Aroma sauce * Oyster sauce * Peanut butter sauce * Cilantro After that, season it however you like. I added a whole bunch because I like my flavor to be deeply rooted on my tongue. Overall, this place was incredible. It’s a completely different vibe from getting burgers and wings all the time, and it’ll fill you up. It’s that good, satisfying, “gumbo full” feeling, and it tastes like a hearty, home-cooked, soulful meal. Y’all definitely need to go try this place. It’s worth every bit of the review I gave it. And trust me, I’m always gonna keep it a bean with y’all—I wasn’t even that hopeful going in, but this place completely changed my mind. ALSO—— I called it hotpot. It’s really Malatang style What’s the difference? Hot Pot: You cook your raw ingredients yourself at the table in a pot of simmering broth. Malatang: You build your own bowl by picking your ingredients, the kitchen cooks everything for you in the broth you choose, and then you customize it with sauces and toppings. Ramen: The restaurant serves you a pre-built bowl with a set broth, noodles, and toppings. You usually don’t get to customize it nearly as much. Best TYPE: MALATANG!!!😍😍😍
