It was sad when she passed. Not long after she passed, in Fort Wayne, Indiana there was a news caster Susan Wellday or something like that. She also passed away from eating disorder. She bragged she was on a “popcorn diet” 💔

People with anorexia know they are unwell. Know they are starving to death they are not stupid. The fear of admitting to it to family and the doctor is because of the terror of gaining weight. This mental health condition is based on control and when gaining weight control is lost.

I'm a massive ariana fan. have been for years. I have every vinyl. I have every perfume. I have the tickets. I'm tired of feeling like if I acknowledge this I'm not a real fan. I don't care if she never makes another album or stars in another movie. you don't need a medical degree to know she needs help and rest. I love her. I hope this time away she just announced will be healing. I just want her to be at peace.

People in the throes of ED can’t be honest. Even to themselves. To them it’s mortifying that other people dare to talk about it. It’s such a private hell. No one really understands unless they or a loved one has been through it. They can’t just “eat” and get better. It’s years of an anxiety and control bought on by things that are nothing to do with physical appearance. It’s a deadly mental health condition that many never fully recover from.

it was said "her eating disorder wasnt brought up very often" .. which is why she died. everyone bringing up CONCERN for Ariana just wanta her to survive. Ive watched young women younger than her on the BRINK of death from EDs and ita agonizing to watch, especially when they havent accepted its a problem 🥺

Karen carpenter passed away from anorexia, she was a beautiful woman who should’ve gotten the chance to heal from it. The comments comparing Ariana to her are messed up and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone, I hope she’s okay and can also heal no matter what’s wrong with her

As someone that’s in recovery from a severe ED, I noticed when I got to a certain size, my brain got too fatigued to even want to fight it anymore. Life felt easier just doing what I was doing. I was too sick to even see the positives of being in recovery. Too sick to the ED to want to stop. I’m very lucky I still had a hope piece to me and gave it one more try. The last time I was in treatment was back in 2020, and even to this day I still struggle with the thoughts, I still struggle to follow a solid meal plan in the craziness of life but I refuse to go back to where I was. I almost did early this February, but got back on track again and gained a significant amount of weight on my own as I don’t have insurance to see a dietitian or go back to treatment. It’s not easy but it’s worth it! You deserve to feel and look healthy. Living with an ED is hard, the constant exhaustion, dizziness, feelings of hopelessness, brain fog. It’s not worth it!
