Nah kang looks too goofy in the mcu he doesn’t have as much aura as doom and it doesn’t make sense to put kang right before secret wars like god emperor doom isn’t the main villain

its because they didnt see how kang could be the next thanos, yes Kang had build up but the antman movie butchered kang and how serious he was supposed to be, no one is gonna take kang seriously if he lost to antman, and plus the script for kang dynasty was also trash, like yes the controversy is why they kicked the actor out but the main reason why they gave up on kang is because they botched it, they ruined his character and also the movie he was and was gonna be in just was ass and thats exactly why we getting doom instead of kang plus we still had some sort of build up anyway so its a smart pivot and doom is a fan favorite who's way more popular so why not just scrap a already ruined idea and just pivot to a fan favorite who everyone actually takes seriously?

I think marvel just want hype for their project instantly. I mean they too early to fired him and it’s understandable because Jonathan majors only been contracted by marvel in 2 years. So they don’t want risk moves. And why they can’t just recast Kang? Because marvel wants their project to be hype again, and doing so they have to bring back the old faces
