I recently saw a video of a female octopus fleeing onto land from a male to avoid mating (octopuses only go onto land in extreme situations, such as escaping predators) 😥😢

We as ladies need to appreciate snakes more. Snake ladies are often larger than males by a HUGE factor (look up sand boas), and if a man tries to push it half the time they’ll just snap his fucking neck. When I still bred snakes I had a girl shove a boy she didn’t like up against the cage wall and threaten to strangle him if I didn’t rescue his dumb ass. Snakes are awesome!

this is exactly what I've always thought. it disgusts me so bad. and yeah I get it's "natural" and stuff and human morality doesn't apply to Animals but whenever the topic of mating is brought up I feel so bad for the female animals
