@thesmokewalkers: Boswellic acid isolate isn’t essential oil and it isn’t raw frankincense resin. It’s a concentrated fraction of the boswellic acids that remain after distillation. While the lighter aromatic compounds become essential oil the heavier boswellic acids stay behind in the spent resin. From there they can be carefully separated and concentrated into an isolate.
