@growingupabroad: Would you live here? 😎❤️ Exploring the town of Sliema, on the island of Malta! 🇲🇹 For anyone that doesn't live on the island, here's a brief intro: 👇 Located on the east coast of the Mediterranean island of Malta, is the seaside town of Sliema. Named after the Maltese word for 'peace', Sliema was used as a summer residence for rich knights or nobles. Today it has grown into one of the most tourist filled areas on the island; with shopping, dining, gaming and dancing all within one small town. From Sliema, you're able to take several ferries to places like Valletta, Comino, Gozo, and even Sicily! My advice? 😉👇 Take it from someone who's lived on the island for over 10 years... 🫶 Sliema is a beautiful place to live and work if you know what to expect. Because of its proximity to places on the island, it's ideal for tourists to use as a 'home base' and to branch out from there. 👍 If you're young and looking to live where you work, Sliema has a great energy about it, with nightlife and places to shop and eat everywhere.
