Ambs :
Hey I’m a NHS neurodiversity trainer, also adhd and autistic. I get the same vibe I used to get from Sam Thompson watching him, especially watching social situations and how you deal with relationships. Please ignore ChatGPT because it collects a lot of misinformation. The justice sensitivity thing isn’t in the DMS5 for ADHD, but is a common shared experience, it’s normally linked to rigidity of thought associated with autism but adhders can have this trait also (it’s basically super common for people to be combined adhd and autistic, people don’t realise so go for one diagnosis and come out with two, but also v common to have traits of autism but not enough to form a full diagnosis) . Focusing on experiences of hyperactivity (which can be internal hyperactivity, such as racing thoughts, struggling to concentrate etc) and impulsive behaviour (can be overspending, binge eating, addictive behaviour etc). If you don’t have the need for routine and structure and communication (which would imply autism) you could have co occurring sensory processing disorder which would explain the oral sensory seeking. Essentially, your brain has a little dopamine goblin that drives you to do things to feed it dopamine and it wants that dopamine ASAP - so binge eating, seeking sensory input, over spending, addictive behaviours, TikTok, because the addiction is feeding the goblin. You would be unlikely to become addicted to ADHD medication, if anything it would elevate addictive tendencies but everyone is different, and that would be heavily monitored if you have previous negative experiences with medication. Sorry for the long message! ❤️
