Stream it and if you wanna sing along, check out the animated lyric video on Youtube by Logan McNeil 🛣️ For anyone who doesn’t live in Nashville, Gallatin is the road that connects Nashville from north to south and it’s a quirky road with some wild energy. I got the idea for this song after a conversation with some friends who were visiting and they were remarking on how weird the road was, I think one of us said “anything goes out on Gallatin Road” and I thought that sounded like a good hook. I wrote this song with my friend Pat McLaughlin, who I ended up writing about half the songs on this record with, and it was one of the easiest songs we’ve ever written, we just had a lot of fun with it. I was so glad Timbo said yes to joining me on this track, I’ve heard him play many times throughout Gallatin Road, so it felt fitting to have him sing harmony with me on this one.
