it just really hurts because they're protecting themselves from heartbreak but end up breaking their partner's heart by doing the things that the avoidant themselves are afraid their partner would do to them :/

My wife left me two weeks ago, went with her brother back to Pennsylvania. She was ex Menonite. She left every thing that she had took a suitcase and her purse even left her dog. Haven’t spoke with her in two weeks slowed down. I’m texting. There’s never a response.
