I’ve lived with it for ~13 years at this point and you do learn to accept it, but the pain may not go away. The other name for IC is “painful bladder syndrome.” It’s a syndrome so the symptoms and severity range sooo much per individual as well as the treatments that are effective. I wish you the best 💜
