I wasn’t raised in a religion but I feel the same way about the terms. I don’t see myself as agnostic or atheist bc simply, religion is not a part of my identity. I don’t mind being described as agnostic or atheist bc at the end of the day it’s kind of just semantics, but it feels like then I’m saying that it’s a part of my identity in the same way a religion would be if I were religious, and it’s just not something that feels relevant to my life or part of my identity, so I prefer to just say “not religious” as a way almost of opting out. I find it interesting to hear about other people’s religious beliefs, customs and traditions, but it’s just an aspect of life I’m not involved in outside of curiosity for how others see the world.

I'm not Christian. I used to be, and kind of educated my way out of it. I'm not loud about it but when someone inevitably asks and I say "I'm not Christian" 90% of the time they say "so you don't believe in God" and it is so much more complex than that. Learning that I don't owe anyone answers has been freeing tbh. To say "it's not that I don't believe, I absolutely believe it all exists, plus everything else anyone's ever believed in, I just disagree with the Abrahamic God's policies in general and choose not to subscribe" opens a can of worms that whoever is asking is probably not ready for LMFAO 😅
I found your content because of what you're doing for your brother, and I think it's amazing. Sending you all love!

I’m ex Christian, raised almost how you were until I got out, but I’m also very anti aberhamic god and anti Christianity, anti Catholics and everything that falls under either of those two things that follow the Christian Bible
