You have a valid point, especially for critical systems like fintech. But I think the better message is “don’t deploy what you don’t understand,” not “don’t build if you’re not a software engineer.” AI has lowered the barrier to building software, but it hasn’t removed the need to understand architecture, security, transactions, testing and the code you’re shipping. Let’s teach people to build responsibly, not discourage them from building.
