Why would he say it’s fine to search?they’re already totally suspicious. Tell them “If you have a warrant you’re welcome to search”. Leave your lawyer with more to work with

If I had to guess - the gentlemen who manages the bar is not cooperating because he knows that his business can be found liable for serving/overserving a customer who then drives under the influence and causes a fatal crash. His bar can be found liable and be sued for money as well as face the risk of his liquor license being revoked. He’s definitely not cooperating on purpose to cover his a$$

no he doesn't have to assist , but it is clear they are running cash base under table, but that is not why cops are there they are trying to substantiate , how much she spent or drank. which of course could implicate the bar to civil culpability of serving her. the bar doesn't know her level of imparement were marginal and certainly not deemed reckless by the bar. but the owner doesn't know it , the cops don't get it. civil suits are crazy , and everyone knows they can hold bAr responsible, so that is why the guy is being defensive, it's simple and cops need to understand it's not inal it's a real potential civil liability issue.
