@tigerlilyhistory: This is the Royal Century telescope, built by W. Watson & Sons in 1908, and now housed in the Whipple Museum in Cambridge. This piece would have set you back £170 in 1908, which according to the Bank of England’s inflation calculator is £18,219.90 of today’s money! Lots of things have changed over the centuries, but one thing that hasn’t is our love for looking at the stars. Thank you so much to the Whipple Museum for allowing me to film with this beautiful piece and if you’re in Cambridge, make sure you pop in to see it (and the orrery!). #HistoryOfScience #History #Astronomy #Stargazing #CambridgeUniversity

Luke 1:37 “For no word from God will ever fail.” ✨ Want my free 30-Day Prayer Guide? Just send me the word “PRAYER” and I’ll DM it to you! Sometimes God allows situations to become so difficult that human strength and understanding can no longer provide an answer. And it is often in those moments that our faith is tested the most. You may be praying for something that seems completely out of reach. Every door may appear closed, every opportunity may seem lost, and every circumstance may be telling you to give up. But what looks impossible from your perspective is never beyond God's power. God does not need perfect circumstances to accomplish His purpose. He can create opportunities where none exist and open doors that no human effort could unlock. The same God who performed miracles throughout Scripture is still worthy of your trust today. Want this and other free faith-inspired wallpapers? Message me the word IMAGE, and I’ll send them to you! Sometimes the greatest testimony comes from a situation that nobody believed could change. When God moves in unexpected ways, His goodness becomes a reminder that our limitations do not define His possibilities. But faith is not about demanding that God fulfill every desire exactly as we imagine. It is about trusting His wisdom, even when His plans look different from our prayers. Keep praying when the answers seem delayed. Keep trusting when the path ahead remains uncertain. One day, you may look back at the very situation that once brought you to your knees and recognize how God was working through it all. Until then, let your faith be stronger than your fear, and let your trust in God be greater than the obstacles before you.
