Ogni volta penso a come sarebbe stato se ti avessi visto tornare a casa dopo le chemio, sorridendo, e rivederti seduto al tuo posto a tavola. Mi manca tutto. Mi mancano le volte in cui guardavamo la partita del Napoli insieme, anche se non ci capivo niente perché ero piccola. Mi manca aspettarti quando venivi a prendermi per portarmi a casa tua. Mi mancano perfino le nostre litigate, quando eri pesante e assillante. Vorrei rivivere anche solo un momento di tutto questo, ma poi mi ricordo che tu non ci sei più. E fa ancora tanto male. My goddad the guy whod drive me to school when it rained, snowed, when it was freezing cold or when he just wanted to id say thanks for the ride every time he used to giggle at that and was so happy and proud of me for saying that for some reason ill never find out why he stepped up when my dad coudnt cuz of work and mom coudnt cuz she lives really far from me he was my world id help him renovate little things around his house or in it he was always so happy when i did and never stopped talking to everyone how proud he was of me for helping him and doing a good job he was my 2nd dad i never knew i needed he was always there whenever i felt sad and came over cuz he lived across the street from me so i always saw him i never had to say i was sad he was always there jumpscaring me giving me gum or snacks hugging me and kissing me making jokes or rhymes to make me laugh or scaring his wife for the fun of it he was such a jokester but he was my jokester and i was his bonus daughter he used to get so pissed at football me and his wife never understood it but we always laughed at him and his funny reactions wed go on walks and hed pretend there was an animal biting a stick he put in a random hole in the road to scare us it somehow always worked his acting was so good i fell for it every time i never had to fake it because he made it seem so real he even scared my dog once and she started chasing him into the forest hed cry of laughter whenever we mentioned that memory he found it so funny we all did the way he yelled out my other dogs name in a funnily high pitched broken voice we all cried of laughter hed do that sometimes just to make us laugh wed go ice skating on a frozen pond he and his wife were taking running ups and squat sledding on theyre feet when i tried it i slipped and fell before i even got to finish the run up i remember the way he laughed and helped me get up we talked abt that memory alot almost a year and a half ago he passed away suddenly and unexpectedly from what exsaminers assume was his heart just stopping they said it was sudden and that he didnt suffer he was found in his work car on a parking lot i remember that day way to vividly
