honestly losing Ned is even more heartbreaking than MJ because he was there before MJ was, he was there when Uncle Ben was gone and I'm glad they included the hand shake at the end. that's what made me feel hope

peter parker might just be the strongest person to exist and this is not about power, but the way he had lost everything but refused to lose himself too. the scene that made me cry the hardest was when he comforted jean with the words that he needed himself, he knows he has every right to become evil but it’s not how he feels, i’m a fan of peter parker AND spiderman not because he’s cool and powerful, but because at the end of the day he is a human who has so much love and kindness in his heart that it overpowers the darkness, if i lost everything i ever known im not sure if i’d be able to pick myself up because at the end of the day we as humans deeply need connection so his fate is the most cruel punishment to ever exist, if being a superhero costs this much i’m not even sure if i’d wear the mask ever again in my life

heavy on the fact that you still have to choose to be YOU at the end of the day, as Peter did, being both, Peter and Spiderman , he chose to be true to himself and to embrace the unknown of life. As seen in the movie brighter days will come, by accepting the change, you’ll live that brand new day.❤️‍🩹

This this is what it feels like moving abroad for years and then if you have the rare chance to visit home. You no longer share memories with people that meant so much to you

I felt like this was about grief, all the phases, I felt like they were métaphores, the power taking over the personality I saw it a depression and grief taking over yourself, and then you learn that your not alone in this and that you continue with it but not alone

This must be one of the most deep superhero movies ever made! And then you have people saying it was a disappointment because doctor doom didn't appear? LOL

I think the movie does a really good job at capturing the essence of what Spider-Man is supposed to be first and foremost. He is kind to a fault. And the movie shows how Peter goes everyday about delivering said kindness but how it’s also important to show the same kindness to not just others but also ourselves as it is meaningless otherwise.

re-inventing yourself is never out of reach even with such immense grief and loneliness

I always tell my friend that loss is the deepest feeling ever and it’s not just because we loose the ones we love or the dream we’re chasing, you loose a version of yourself that you’ve been dreaming about with that person, that version that you’ve been curating overtime just falls apart. it’s what it does to us after everything is gone.

I quite literally grew up with these films, this is the first Spider-Man I’m watching as an adult and I’ve always related to Peter, but I would have never thought I would relate to Peter in the way he was struggling in this movie so it was really moving and eye opening to realise that what I’m going through i might be alone in but I’m not alone in the world. People are going through similar things that I am experiencing and that makes me feel seen.

This film is a heartbeat in the dark❤️Nobody tells you that the true price of doing right is being forgotten, and that your personal universe can completely fall apart while the earth never stops turning for your grief. It was never about superpowers, it’s about choosing kindness when no one is left to notice, and acutely accepting the heavy fact that nothing will ever be the same again. Nobody shows up to validate your silent struggles. But Peter shows us that even when you're left holding memories alone, you still have to wake up, pull on the suit, and actively choose the life you want to build, brick by brick, value by value. It’s heartbreaking, but deeply hopeful. As long as you stay true to yourself, time will heal what broke. In the end, if it didn't turn out to be a blessing, then it was always meant to be a lesson. What a beautiful and heartfelt movie.❤️‍🩹

I’ve always loved spiderman but that movie hit me so much harder than I expected:(it’s just so much more personal when you’ve been completely alone and on survival for a really long time. I resonated so much with him, i cried so much

This was my favorite line. When Peter asked “who are you?”, and Jean Gray said “Do you know who you are?”. I feel like that line said a lot about what is Peter struggling with at that moment.
