@theshanteledit: There are book friends… and then there are book fairies. Mine went to ESS Lit in the City and came back with exactly what was on my wishlist. She got me Goon and 10,000 Hours by Jahquel J, and I still can’t believe they’re finally on my shelves. One of my favorite parts of being a reader is how this community looks out for each other. Whether it’s helping someone find an out-of-stock title, grabbing books at an event they couldn’t attend, or making sure another reader doesn’t miss out, moments like these remind me why I love being part of the book community.
