I would love to do this but in Australia you can usually only build 1-2 houses on a property no matter how big unless you subdivide it into separate properties which costs a lot.

I grew up in a family compound way before it was a thing. For a kid it is amazing, everyone around is loving and I could just walk over to my grandparents, great grandparents and my aunts place as well. It was wonderful. We had Sunday cookouts where everyone was there. Everyone has their own space which I’m sure helped a lot. 💜

This is the way family should be. So many cultures all over the world this is a normal way of life. My entire family back in Mexico is like this and we are shopping expanding land in East Texas now. Its rare anyone ever leaves the family property on their own.

Does America have housing laws? In Australia you would have to get permits (nearly impossible) to be able to build all the houses
