Rent has been raised too much and nearly doubled in some places. If there are no regulations to stop it we will have a homeless population out of control. SOO TIRED of hearing that it won't work with no other answers to make housing affordable. Greed is the reason it's being implemented or suggested. Almost like capitalism is flawed and not working. 🙄

rent control limit price gouging by landlords. a policy 10 years for now it's not going to protect tenants now from being evicted due to increased rent today. this is a problem with ivy league economist. they divorce the real life consequences from the theory and base it off of already biased data

Yes it is. Our wages don’t go up at the same percentage as the rent does.
