As an Arab Muslim living in the Middle East, it is very surprising to me that the Christians and Muslims don’t coexist in the west. I mean we live happily together in the Middle East. In fact I as a Muslim was in a Catholic school and no one thoughat was wierd.

When I was Christian, I was torn by things I read in the bible… so I decided to read EVERY religious text… I prayed on it… and I settled that I believed what I read in the Quran more then what I read in the bible… mainly because the things that bothered me with the bible was answered when I read the Quran… I lost my family and my kids in doing so but Allah gave me a family to stand into those places… we never wanted to scare others but trying to share our truth

I was having trouble sleeping and got sick with vertigo after my mom’s passing and my husband (who is a born Muslim) shared with me a Quran’s recitation from YouTube and it was in Arabic. When I played it I was able to sleep like a baby even when I didn’t know what was saying. At that time my husband and I had been married for 20 years me as Christian and him as Muslim. We never had an issue because of a religious difference. After a year of me listening to the Quran and doing my own research I surprised my husband when I told him I wanted to become a Muslim. It’s been 5 years and it has been the best decision of my life, HamduliAllah.

In Islam prophet Muhammad first word was told by God was iqra which means read. Everyone should research and read quran before coming to a conclusion.
