@1.umbrella.sportsandent: Defensive General Chevoy Watkin Brings Strength, Experience and Leadership to Tru-Juice FC Tru-Juice FC have strengthened their defense ahead of their first Jamaica Premier League campaign by signing experienced Jamaican defender Chevoy Watkin for the 2026–27 season. The 1.86-metre, right-footed defender brings strength, aerial ability, positional discipline and valuable JPL experience. After joining Dunbeholden from Portmore United in 2022, Watkin established himself as a dependable and physical presence in central defense. Described by the Jamaica Star as the “rock” of Dunbeholden’s defense, Watkin has also earned multiple Man of the Match honours and publicly expressed his ambition to represent Jamaica’s senior national team. His influence extends beyond defending. Watkin headed Dunbeholden into the lead against former club Portmore United in a 1–1 draw in February 2024. In January 2026, he opened the scoring in Dunbeholden’s emphatic 4–0 victory over Treasure Beach. Watkin brings Tru-Juice FC leadership, toughness and familiarity with the league.
