@horse.essaouira: This horse means a lot to me. ❤️🐎 When he injured his tendons, I did everything I could to help him recover. For this case, I used one traditional treatment made with: * Blue stone (copper sulfate) * Alum * Fresh country eggs * Vinegar * Henna * Garlic First, I cooled his legs with cold vinegar, then I applied the mixture and kept it on his legs for 3 days. Alhamdulillah, after only 5 days, he was back on his feet and doing much better. 🙏 This is just one of many traditional methods used for tendon injuries in horses. Depending on the type and severity of the injury, other methods may be used, such as brushing the legs with a stiff brush, pine tar treatments, and several other traditional techniques. Personally, I always try to keep firing (cauterization) as the very last option, because it requires a long recovery period.
