@hackproduct9: Event-driven architecture clicks when you stop seeing Kafka as a pipe—and start seeing a durable, replayable log. ⚡ Sources append events to a topic. Keys distribute records across partitions; brokers replicate them. Independent consumer groups move at their own pace: enrich in real time, trigger fraud checks or notifications, or write to a lake/search index. The animation shows partitions fill during bursts, then drain as consumer offsets advance. Events remain replayable. Design review: Does the key preserve required ordering? Are consumers idempotent? Can schemas evolve safely? What happens to lag, retries, poison events, and replays? More consumers add parallelism only up to partition count. Ordering is per partition—not global. #Kafka #EventDrivenArchitecture #DataEngineering #Streaming #SystemDesign
