If my husband told me that he was having hallucinations and thoughts of harming our kids, I would be immediately leaving with the kids to check into a hotel. He would not come within 10 feet of the kids until it was fully resolved. It is negligent on Patrick and every medical professional she came into contact with to let her be alone with them. Postpartum psychosis is a medical emergency and a woman with it should NOT be left alone with the kids AT ALL. Those sweet babies deserve everyone to be held accountable, not just her.

There should be more help for everyone with mental health issues. That being said when you cross the line of harming others I feel like punishment is necessary. At this point it’s not about rehabilitation it’s about being held responsible atleast to some degree.

I'm a mother of five, and I've been in the comments all week. Those of us who have experienced three kids under three years old are telling them what our experiences are, and instead of listening, they're being disrespectful and ignorant AF. Their attitudes are a choice. They literally don't want to hear anything that contradicts how *they* believe a mother should behave, think, and feel. I soncerely think they're being intentionally inflammatory because they hate women.
