@cspanofficial: C-SPAN's "Ceasefire" — Republican strategist Lanhee Chen and Democratic strategist Joel Payne discuss reports that the Democratic National Committee used its headquarters as collateral for a $15 million line of credit and what the party's financial position could mean ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. "It seems like the moment is a little bit too big for Ken Martin," Payne said. "When you don't have the White House, when you don't have leadership in Congress, this is one of the most significant visible figures in your party." Chen said Republicans believe they have a fundraising edge but noted, "The cash advantage is great. It doesn't do you a whole lot of good if you don't deploy the cash." Lanhee Chen is a fellow at the Hoover Institution and previously served as policy director for Mitt Romney's 2012 presidential campaign. Joel Payne is a Democratic strategist and former communications director for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.
