Honestly thankyou, It’s lonely being the dumper and everyone assuming you “gave up”. As a man especially online it’s been a rough 8 months. Its nice to know I’m not the only one who left someone knowing it was for the best for me even though I loved them very much and tried very hard to make it work.

Of course, because we saw the potential of the future, however the first hit is the illusion breaking, the next is realising the red flags you ignored or explained away, and the third is knowing you have to make the call that will f you up for quite some time. But not making it will f you up in other ways and lead to it ending anyway.
