I would say Argos lost lots and lots of money. lots of customers when they stopped printing their catalogues... the amount of people that would probably sit there looking through the catalogue and buy stuff just for the sake of it because it's literally on their living room table all the children that would have circled things for Christmas... it's completely different online online. you have to specifically search for things. when you have a catalogue you can just sit there and flick through the pages and see things you wouldn't have seen if you were online... the internet is an amazing thing but some things are just better off not being changed and that's where Argos went wrong. they literally turned their backs on the people that built the company. the people that sat there flicking through the catalogue.
