Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat. 2. Add the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. 3. Stir in the heavy cream and let it gently simmer for 3–5 minutes. Don’t let it boil vigorously. 4. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. 5. Season with black pepper and a little salt if needed (Parmesan is already salty). 6.
