He was able to talk to him bc eren is witnessing his dads memories bc of zeke so in those moments eren was sending his memories of himself talking to grisha causing grisha to see erens memories of eren talking to grisha in that exact moment

Another problem is that ppl confuse themselves over the power of the attack titan, some believe it allowed Eren to view the whole future and it gives users the ability to look in the future whenever they want but that’s totally wrong. The power of the attack titan gives past attack titan users the ability to receive memories of the future from future inheritors. So when Eren kissed historias hand he did not see the entire future but saw fragments that he himself sent from the future. Also there is not multiple timelines like many aot fans think

Aot is master class except the ending is actual trash. Why Erin didn’t eliminate everyone except the titan blood people is the stupidest thing considering he wants to end war so badly. He coulda ended war for the whole planet entirely for all time and allowed titans to rebuild all of it. Instead he made his people a worse plague and left multiple regimes to continue waring long after all the titans are gone and allowed the titan tree to be reborn for future totalitarian leaders to exploit.

i always compared it loosely to Dr Manhattan from watchmen. Eren had seen it all play out but just because he could see it didn't mean he could change it. he was still forced to live it regardless

I've never see someone say it's a time travel. The point is that Eren himself created the reality in which he does the rumbling and realised he couldn't change. the fact that he did through memories unstead of time travel just makes the scene cooler but doesn't change your perception of the plot. Either you think it's time travel or revelation, it's made very clear that the rumbling was going to happen.

your point changes everything about the story. With that theory of yours, it means Eren didnt manipulating anyone. And Zeke's expressions tell us otherwise when he sees Grisha not killing the reiss family and also Grisha says "Eren I have done what you wanted". That means Eren orchestrated everything but your point shows that Eren didn't orchestrate anything

I dont think the Attack Titan actually has that ability. Grisha just think it does because Eren showed him future memories with the Founders power. He says after that he couldn’t have been able to pull it off if Zeke didn’t take through the memories. He needed the founder in order to do that. Eren probably planted the seed that it was an Attack Titan thing when he made Eren Krueger say the line about saving Mikasa and Armin
