It because of Drew that I realized that the way I was raised as a Mexican is literally self harm. in my family I was taught to be “respectful” which meant shutting up about things I didn’t agree with or like, specifically when it came to men. you are taught to cater to the men in your life including your brothers, cousins, fathers and uncles as if your only purpose in their life is to serve them. Fuuuuuuuck thattt. Imagine just how much happier your life can be if you took care of yourself just as much as you took care of a grown ass man baby.
