@ktustudios: I have had multiple relationships in my life where I’ve begged a person to change. I reached for the most convincing arguments, penned the most eloquent words, done the most dramatic things, but every single time, nothing worked. Eventually, I wrote them out of my life and accepted that some things simply can’t be. But yet, I have witnessed some of these people change. Dramatically and unrecognizably. And it’s never another human’s doing. It’s only when they meet someone who’s not their peer but their author. I’ve seen God change people in my life I never thought would change. I can’t explain it but I can’t deny it. This piece is inspired by those mysterious situations. Just who exactly is this God that even the hearts of the coldest men grow warm at his touch?
