The second note is so odd, it’s so humane. Such a terrible crime committed but still. They didn’t need to even tell them she died. Then to tell them that there’s nothing they could have done to stop it and that they hope they find peace. They’re actually saying things to help the family, which again is so odd considering how awful their crime was
