I know this message is going to get lost in all the others but I just want you to know how much you’re helping me. I’m currently going through almost the exact same thing with 2 teen daughters. They’re also finding out about my exes ‘secret’ disgusting life. They’re the ones that caught him and had to tell me. I’m so heartbroken

ik your thing is you can’t afford therapy but if you’re able to reconsider and find a way to squeeze it into your budget please do!!! therapy is SO life changing and when done properly it LITERALLY alters the chemistry of your brain and how your mind and body respond to the life within AND around you. even just once a month will give you amazing mental tools! there’s lots of non- insurance options, some providers offer “sliding scale” payment based on income. that’s how i go, I pay $99 a visit and go twice a month. therapy helps me discover the best version of who i am and how to make her show up, so i make it happen!

I’m so sorry you’ve experienced these atrocities at the hands of others. Please know the right people care about YOU, not the entertainment you provide or the “opportunity” to grandstand. Your candidness and confidence to tell your story will, and very possibly already has, helped someone else recognize their own strength to find better for themselves.
