Honestly, you should take her to a vet hospital instead. She doesn’t sound confident but repeating herself stating that it’s not her specialty and that there’s no one there overnight.

UPDATE: hello everyone so she took her to the first place which gave her the eye meds and they sent her to a specialist they charged her way to much by the time she went to pick her up today the bill was over 5000 I reached out to a rescue and also the new hospital she will be at after speaking to a rescue we found out this place will over price not only because it lands on a weekend keeping her over night 500 is way over priced for over night! but they also euthanize dogs I have been speaking to her all day today on video and by phone and she is trying her best and is very upset about the money she spent all she feels is that they charged her and wanted to charge more and had very little explanation on what the process was.so she transferred her to another vet today 8/1/26 and we will give update shortly if everyone can please keep sharing her go fund me so that she doesn’t have to give this dog up to a rescue this will be greatly appreciated. By the way I’m also an animal advocate and I messaged her and she reached out I was able to guide her the best way possible being in Miami but for an animal I always try to help I wish I was closer or she was here because maybe things would of been much easier here but unfortunately she’s way to far.this poor girl left her daughter with her mom and after work went straight to get Lucy and rush her to another place in her work uniform she is drained and can’t speak at this time! we are asking for shares donations and prayers.

I think you should take her to the vet more equipped to deal with this. She was honest and they may not of caught it but now that they know they will be able to fix it

Please take her back to the LSU, the vet wouldn’t recommended it if it wasn’t the best thing for her. If this clinic (in the video) doesn’t specialize in those things, its not a good option for Lucy. Or if you don’t like the LSU, try to find another vet clinic. A lot of people are ready to financially support you.. and you are amazing, thank you!

LSU only because they have special diagnostic tests and equipment... then let them keep her to put her on IV meds .. I know it's heartbreaking to leave her although only a couple if days.. Lucy will pull through 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Keep her at this vet, let them board her. IV Fluids and Antibiotics could work wonders. Dont take her back to the other vet.

The university hospital will have the best internal medicine veterinarians. Tell them their vet missed a huge lump and you need a different doctor to see her. They may not charge you due to the mess up

Dude you are awesome! This pup is so blessed! Also I really love this vet! She is so sweet and really explains things and you can tell she genuinely cares. She’s even willing to come in on her day off to check on her 🥰. I hope Lucy gets to feeling better soon! 😭 she never would’ve made it without you

She needs a referral to someone who is specialised. Whatever it is that they aren’t sure about is obviously getting worse and needs proper treatment bless her.
