You know what if people respected people’s privacy and only took pictures of themeselves and not the bride then no one would bother paying for a team to take phones. It’s so sad that people don’t respect the brides preferences. I have been to wedding where the bride was a hijabi and for her wedding decided to not wear her hijab and her family specifically asked the guests to not take pictures of the bride and the party. Yet the amount of people that kept sneaking in a picture of the bride and the party.

personally i love no phone weddings. if uts gender seperated, i can take my hijab off, wear wtv and dance. also i think its fair no phones, in the us we put “ no photography “ on the invites. i dont want my wedding uploaded anywhere without my permission!!

Because some people are hijabi/niqabi, and don’t want to on someone’s snap or camera roll that can be seen by random males it’s just common sense, some women hijabi/non hijabi may post it on their stories or social media and they may have males there obviously that isn’t the women in the background or the bride’s mahram

My cousin hired camera security for her wedding bc she is very private, and it was such a smart idea. Only a small list of close family and friends could take photos, so she got the best angles and all the special moments without everyone crowding around with their phones.
