I was really little, six years old in kindergarten still, my dad passed while I didn’t understand and kept asking if he was okay and if he’s gonna come back. I was at dance practice and then a guy looked just like my dad, I was so excited and waved at him so excited and ran up to the guy. He looked at me weird when I wanted to be held crying my eyes out saying why he left and how did he get out from the ground. He just looked at me and walked out with his daughter and wife (his family) and I was confused thinking he had another family and left me

I work as a bartender/server part time and one time an old guy came in in a red long sleeve shirt tucked into his jeans, brown belt and a blue flannel over it. He was extremely tan due to years in the sun and had long dimples when he smiled/laughed. I thought I was seeing my dad again. I served him 3 beers and his dinner holding back tears every time. Towards the end of his stay a regular at the bar called out “MARGE WHEN U HAVE A MINUTE ILL TAKE MY CHECK.” (My first name is Margaret, after my dad’s mother) and his head snapped so fast to look at me with a look of recognition but confusion on his face. I literally froze in my place at the look on his face. I’ll always believe a part of my dad was in him and saw me that day. I never saw that guy again after that day and it’s been 3 years.
