Someone pointed out a while ago that Miguel isn’t a true spider and instead is a tarantula. While modern spiders evolved from tarantulas, tarantulas don’t classify as spiders because they come from a prehistoric phenotype. This caused them to have fangs which point downwards like daggers (Miguel’s fangs), retractable talons, and they are ambush predators (you can see in his way of fighting he attempts to ambush miles.) Miguel unlike the other spiders was never bitten which on technicality (similar to tarantulas) makes him not a real spiderman.

Really love the idea that the reason his “daughters” universe got messed was because it got disconnected from the spriderverse because he prevented her from becoming the spider of her world her original dad was supposed to be her uncle Ben

My theory is that the universe that held Gabriella wasn’t erased entirely. It merely deleted got rid of the anomaly—Miguel. Why? Because he stopped Gabriella from becoming a Spider. Gabriella and her universe is fine, everything happened as it was but Miguel can’t find it leading him to believe that it was erased.

If I remember correctly he’s also the only Spider-Man to not be bitten by a spider, he worked in a lab and genetically modified himself so he is exactly 50% human and 50% spider, which already makes him artificial compared to others

Didn’t bro take his alternates place cause the (I’m just gonna say original) original one died?? Did we see how the OG died. Cause…if ALT Miguel lost his kid or family and found a way into the spider verse, saw himself in an alternate reality where he had his family and he was the pseudo leader or a high standing Spider-Man why wouldn’t he just take it for himself?

My theory is that Miguel is was originally Prowler in his universe, but took the name after he killed his universe's Spiderman (either on accident or on purpose), creating the first anomaly. That's why the multiverse started destabilizing once Miles became the Spider, and why Miguel is so fucking mad about it. He knows there's only room for one Prowler-turned-Spider in the multiverse, and it isn't him.
