My nurses were angels. The 2nd night the nursery nurse offered and I said I felt like a bad mom. She told me to stop that guilt and get some rest. Maureen was a god send!!

Where I had my daughter had a rooming in policy. I had to BEG them to take her for a few hours on my second night after a 24 hr labor and emergency C-section. Dad left to sleep at home..

I woke up in a panic at 10am and my baby was gone! I walked out and the nurses were all fussing over her (she was 4.5lbs but 100% healthy, just small) The one nurse said, i came in at 2am and she was just awake, quiet, looking around so I thought she might want stuff to look at and she sure did! 😂 L&D nurses are too cute sometimes.

I was actually grateful my baby had to spend 24 hours in the NICU because I REALLY needed that rest after laboring with preeclampsia for 3 days and pushing for 2 hours

The nurses were literal angels after my last two c sections. Night one I wanted my baby near me but I couldn’t sleep. Night two I was over exhausted and they talked with me and reassured me that it’s ok if baby went with them for a few hours. After I got about 3 hours of sleep, the second after I paged for my baby, they were walking through the door! It was amazing and helped so stinking much.

I remember my brother being born and walking down to the nursery to see him through the window. There were other babies in there as well and I just realized they do not do that anymore lol

I burst into tears when they said “we’re going to take baby for some routine tests” then she said “how about we have them do them in the room” 😬🤣 I just wish my nurse could of sat in my room with my baby. I was terrified to go to sleep incase something happened. I was up for 3 days in labor turned c section and started hallucinating from lack of sleep. They finally convinced me she would be okay and I slept for a good 2 and hours. Felt like 20 🤣

We had a preemie. He had to do the car seat test. They did it at night and kept him for a while and kept him to sleep after. It was great. My husband and I got like 5 hours of sleep.

I got such a refreshing nap after birth because of the amazing nurses ❤️not only did they have coffee for me in the morning but they also brought my gorgeous girl in to me with a bow in her hair 😍

My giant squish slept like a prince in the hospital, I was refreshed and dewey putting on make up for visitors and vibing. of course he didn't sleep again for 5 years after that but I did feel lucky for a second there!

I learned that the "baby friendly" hospital just meant no nursery, and one night one of the night shift nurses told me "if you need me to get you a pacifier let me know, they frown upon that here" and while she was in the room she helped a lot with my son but no one would or could take him out of the room

I had terrible insomnia after giving birth to my last baby. The nurse found me crying on the toilet at 4 am, gave me something to help me sleep and took care of my baby

I’ll never forget the nurse who told me to rest after my baby was taken to the nicu and I was crying because I didn’t want to leave her. She’s an angel and I’ll never forget her

My baby was born with multiple substances in her body. Before we got her, she lived at the nurse's station for 2mos while we completed our paperwork to foster her. I am so grateful for the nurse's who took amazing care of her and got her through the withdrawals. A huge thank you to nurse's everywhere.

I had a nurse on the floor like that and I appreciated it SO MUCH. It was like a miracle to get to sleep for a little while! Plot twist- the nurse was very pregnant at the time, her daughter is classmates with my son lol

In the Peds unit with a newborn who just got out of the NICU. 24 hours of nonstop cluster feeding. That nurse who took him and let me sleep for 4 hours is always in my prayers

You hold them?!? If I knew you’d hold them I’d absolutely let you hold them so I could sleep. I thought they’d cry in the nursery. 🥺
