I had a pal hit 80+% chance like 8 times in a row when I first started the playthrough. it was a rushoar. it was statistically more likely that I spontaneously combust. he now is still alive, he has his own pal base. it is a rectangular building 3 blocks long and 2 blocks high. it has a bed and a food box with raw rushoar meat stocked at all times, and a stone mine. above the building is a monitoring station where he is assigned to that station at all times. the work speed is set to brutal, and all medicine is refused save the ones that stop him working. I have a separate mining base. I do not need the stone they mine, and I actively discard it the second its collected in front of him. he will toil in obscurity until his world is abandoned, his sole task forgotten even by his tormentor. the only statistical impossibility is his escape.

I got that terraria sword that summons 9 swords to attack whatever you’re attacking, and if they won’t get in the ball I keep the mercy hit on and I just let the swords endlessly attack them without killing them while they’re stun locked. Eventually they’ll think getting in the ball is better than that.
