I say fine. They don’t need a conference? Then work it that way. I think eventually logistics/scheduling will work against teams (that are in a conference) that would play them. This years ND schedule is laughable. It’s the college landscape around them that will determine ND’s conference fate. Not ND.

ND needs to join the Big 10 so they can play Northwestern, Rutgers, Nebraska, Minnesota, Washington, Iowa, Illinois, Maryland, Purdue, Wisconsin, UCLA, USC, Penn St, Indiana on a yearly basis. Notre Dame wouldn't win a game. How does Ohio St, Michigan and Oregon do it??????
