idk what's wrong with the ppl in the comments pls wait at least 4 months to let it heal completely and if it doesn't really get super crusty anymore and there are no bumps on the inside or outside you can change it!!

6months, pls don’t listen to ppl in the comments I’m rlly trying not to be rude but ppl rllyy don’t know what they are talking about!! This not only comes from experience I have 9 face piercings, but ask any reputable piercer and they will tell you this!!! Don’t change it too soon it will not only fuck up healing it can also fuck up the placement as well!!!!! Pls don’t listen to these ppl in the comments…. Lips take longer than ppl think to heal

girl be safe and wait the full 6 months, my cartilage piercing healed for a entire year and I took the jewelry out for 30 mins and it closed.

I have snakebites but my piercer said 3 months but genuinely it was killing me i hated the studs so much they were SO uncomfortable so i changed after 6 weeks, but only because one of the balls on the studs fucking popped off while i was eating so i thought it was a sign from my ancestors or sumn

like 3 days, honestly i think any piercing really only needs like 2-3 days before changing the jewelry. i dont recommend this of course but likee as long as u got some vaseline, piercing spray and ur quick wit it i think ur good

my piercer changed it to a horseshoe after 3 weeks but it got irritated but he told me to put tea tree oil on it and now its getting better 🥹✌🏻
